Bollywood actress Asin Thottumkal was hospitalised for acute sinus condition. She was admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital on Monday morning, as her condition deteriorated.

It was reported that the Ghajini actress, who has been shooting round-the-clock, was hospitalised due to exhaustion, but sources close to the actress said that she has been having sinus problem for quite sometime. She could not go for treatment due to tight shooting schedules.

Asin has been busy shooting for London Dreams along with Salman Khan and Ajay Devgan. So she waited for Eid break to get rid of her illness.

Her father Joseph Thottumkal confirmed that Asin has been hospitalised. He however added that there is nothing to worry about her health. He thinks it’s a part of his daughter’s growing up.

Sources said that the actress is in good spirit and she was even spotted singing film songs and having good time with the nurses. She is expected to be discharged very soon.

Meanwhile, rumours spread like wild fire that she was hospitalised due to exhaustion. It maybe recalled that many actresses including Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra had fainted on the sets in the past due to exhaustion.
