Good News for Airtel Customers for prepaid users and postpaid users
To access the service, users must first enable Airtel Live services which is activated for free by texting ‘LIVE’ to 543210 (toll-free). Once done, users may get the Facebook link by texting ‘FACEBOOK’ to 54321 (toll-free).
Customers, accessing Airtel mobile internet for the first time need to SMS ‘FACEBOOK’ to 54321 to take advantage of this offer. Don’t forget, your mobile needs to support internet browsing!
Remember, this offer is valid only for two months. This offer will end on Tuesday, August 31, 2010. So the Airtel users can enjoy the free Airtel Facebook services for a period of 60 days!
The Facebook site will be available in English, Hindi and five more Indian languages – Punjabi, Bengali, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam.
“Our mobile customers will also be the first in the world to enjoy Facebook on their Airtel mobile in five vernacular languages,” Bharti Airtel Chief Marketing Officer- Mobile Services Shireesh Joshi said.
