We went on a trip to Mekedatu and Sangam in Bangalore (Karnataka, India) on Saturday, April 16, 2011. We left Wilson Garden (Bangalore) by Bus at 9:00Am and we’ve reached Sangam at 11:30Am. Bus fare from Bangalore (Wilson Garden) to Mekedatu is Rs.7500. Driver Bata Rs. 400. Total Fare is Rs. 7900. From Sangam to Mekedatu is 3 Kms. We crossed Sangam river by walking and we took Bus from Sangam, Bus fare from Sangam to Mekedatu Rs.20. Bus ticket (To and Fro) Rs.40. Every half an hour (every 30 minutes) there is a bus service from Sangam to Mekedatu (Mekedatu to Sangam) There are two buses (Red Bus and Blue bus). Near Sangam river you will get edible item (food) like fish (fried fish), potato chips, cakes, biscuits, etc. You will get Bisleri water (drinking water) also.
