Symantec is releasing a new antivirus, Norton 360, Version 3. The Version has enhanced security and performance. A new feature in this version is also the website rating service called the Norton Safe Web.
The Norton 360 is priced at Rs 2820 for new subscribers. Existing subscribers can upgrade to the latest version from the Norton Update Centre. Other advantages in the new Norton 360 are quick installation and utilization of only 10MB space.
The version provides 2 GB online space for users to store their data. The data can be used as a back up drive. Symantec claims to have identified more than 60 percent of malicious sites in the world. The Norton Safe Web uses the “Intelligent Aging Algorithm” and the 20 million strong Norton Community Watch, to identify malicious sites. The Norton 360 is available in Premier, 1,3,5 and 10 user editions at prices from Rs 2,820 to Rs 11,280.
